FAQ
Common office furniture hire questions
These answers provide general guidance. Final details are confirmed in the quote or written agreement.
What hire terms are available?
Hire terms are confirmed during quoting and depend on the furniture supplied, project scope, delivery requirements and written agreement.
Is delivery included?
Delivery is quoted according to location, furniture quantity, access requirements and project size. It should not be assumed to be included unless stated in the quote.
Can you install the furniture?
Professional installation, assembly and placement can be quoted where required. Desks and workstations may need assembly before use.
Is a security deposit required?
A security deposit may apply depending on the project, hire duration, furniture value and customer profile. Deposit details are confirmed in writing.
Can I hire furniture for a temporary office?
Yes. Our minimum hire period is 3 months. We regularly supply office furniture for temporary workplaces, project teams, relocations, workplace expansions and short-term commercial office requirements. Our flexible hire solutions can be tailored to suit a wide range of business needs.
Can I hire office furniture for a construction site?
Yes. Construction office furniture hire can support site offices, project compounds, administration areas and meeting spaces.
Can I add products after the hire begins?
Yes. Additional furniture can be added during the hire period, subject to product availability and project requirements. We'll work with you to accommodate changing workplace needs wherever possible, with any additional hire charges confirmed before supply.
Can I hire a complete office package?
Yes. Office packages can be used as a starting point and adjusted during quoting to suit the team, space and hire term.
What information is needed for a quote?
Useful details include delivery suburb, preferred start date, hire period, furniture list, staff numbers, access conditions and installation requirements.
What happens at the end of the hire?
At the end of the fixed term, Office Furniture Hire collects the hired items, or the customer may request an extension of the hire.
Are extension options available?
Extensions may be available by agreement with Office Furniture Hire. Requests should be made before the hire term ends where possible.
Do you provide office chairs, desks and workstations?
Yes. The catalogue includes office chair hire, office desk hire, workstation hire, meeting furniture, storage, whiteboards and other commercial furniture categories.
Can delivery be arranged outside normal hours?
Yes. We understand that many office fit-outs and relocations need to take place outside normal business hours to minimise disruption. We offer flexible delivery and installation scheduling wherever possible, including after-hours and weekend deliveries by arrangement. Availability and any additional charges will be confirmed during the quoting process.
What happens if furniture is damaged?
Damage, missing items or excessive wear may result in charges where permitted by the written agreement.
